Bumper mounted fog lights are optional though most likely they will be implemented. For simplicity reasons and to make the bumper mold simpler, it was decided that the fog lights buckets will be a separate mold and part. To have access to the fog light projector, a plate with threaded holes will be bonded into back side of the bumper to which headless bolts will the threaded in. The fog buckets with the mounted projectors will then be fastened with nuts with gasket sandwiched in between the bucket and bumper. To make it watertight from the front, lens will be applied with adhesive thus preventing any water entering insight of the bucket. More contents will be available as the part is developed. |
